Leeks

Autumn leeks grown here in the market garden. Leeks are really versatile - from soups to stirfrys, blanched or braised and cooked in gratins. Best stored in the fridge and will keep for at least a week - you can always strip a layer off if they are looking a bit sad for themselves.
