The hens at Trill (mainly a mix of White Leghorns and Lohmann Brown) move around the field in a mobile house - following on after the sheep, and making the most of our lush green manures in the summer and autumn too. They have access to a wide variety of forage in the form of plants and insects – keeping them very happy and healthy and producing great quality eggs.
We feed the hens with 100% organic feed.
